bummer, James was telling me about it. Pulling the tranny isn't too hard. Just make sure you remove ALL the bolts from the bell housing. There are two little ones that go from the engine side that are easily forgotten. Also having a motorcycle jack for installation is handy.

The e12s aren't bad with the right socket. That freeze plug def looks sick. The dipstick tube can stay in the tranny but the jeep has to be high enough to clear it.

Someone tried using block seal or leak stopper in it. Good news is expansion plugs are cheap.

Oh yeah....I replaced it with brass plugs too, should be good for a few years now.I got the trans lined up and finger tight but I am thinking of pressure testing it first to be safe. You know how there are those jobs on your rig that you dred doing?and then when you get finished you say to yourself "that wasnt too bad" well this isnt one of them!

Yup. Lol. Glad you got it taken care of. My tip is I take RTV and smear around the outer edge of the expansion plug before installing. It helps to seal the imperfections or score marks from taking the old ones out.
