Don't believe I'm gonna make the 19th. Just purchased the XJ this past weekend and really like to know more about it and its condition before I drive that kind of distance in it. Plus need to get recovery gear and full size spare before hitting the trails.

I'm on both forums...was trying to see which had a better Southest section to find people to ride with.

I'm from Columbus, believe I'm going to gather all necessary equipment (straps, etc) before hitting the trail and probably check out an ORV that is closer like the one in Auburn to get a shake down feel for the XJ. Once I get confident with it I'll look to branching out and catching up on a Durhamtown ride.

Thanks

No problem man. Take your time, but know that most of us have that equipment. And everything at Dtown has an easy bypass. Our "baby jeep" last time was stock and only had 2wd. So you are more than capable of having fun without pushing limits with us

probly alright if your not scared to break anything... and you dont go trying to do the crazy stuff... stick to the stock trail and maybe youll be alright... but you dont wanna be "that guy" everyones pulling around either... with a locker youll be fine though... i know a guy on here that did the medium run at jeepbeach locked on 33's...
