Newer member on here, anyone meet up to ride around N. Ga? I've been wanting to do little mountain and sheep wallow road, but hesitant to do them alone. Any other good spots around? The national forest is pretty big, but mostly gravel roads any specific areas that are more challenging?

Something a little more fun than a dirt road. Creek crossings, mud, washouts, rocks, etc. I've heard Beasley ****, trey mountain and bells mountain are good so might have to make the drive to them. I live in Cumming so I've also heard little mountain road in Dawsonville is good. I've never had anyone else to wheel with, so hesitant to go it alone. Just got a winch so that makes things a little better when going it alone, but still always best to have others around if things go wrong.
Hey Y'all in Warner Robbins! WELCOME!
Whatcha got??..mostly mud boggin down there huh?..I'm up in the Helen area..right now I'm in the middle of replacing a grenades transfer case...I got one for $150.00 and I'll need to transfery SYE over to the replacement.. I'm hoping it didn't tear up the SYE shaft...nice hole in the side of the.case where the chain cut through..that and rebuilding my door pillers where they ripped out my hinges..as soon as I get that fixed ...I'll be glad to "get a little mud on the tires".LOL..What's the used parts situation down there??? Do you plan coming up here in the spring? Little cold for "trail repairs" right .now..Is yours a grocery getter? or Crawller?? Hardly ever get anyone on this thread..nice to have another Ga. Boy...

I just picked up a pair of 2000 xjs. One with a rusty frame and the other suffered an engine fire. Both ran so I picked them up cheap and now I'm building a light off-road mudder/second vehicle. Planning on going with a 3" lift and 31s but I might go bigger. We'll see. Right now I'm tearing down both jeeps and figuring out which parts I'm keeping.

I've built quite a few mudder's (when I was over in SC) Crawlers have a way of becoming a huge investment as things brake and get upgraded. I get away with it because I'm old and blissfully single LOL..again Welcome! and let me know if you need something. I know all the yards up here.
