hhmm good idea... ill see what the guy tells me first and go from there... if its only gonna be about $300 for both sides then ill be doing this soon... way better then $800...
I didn't know you were buddies with Tripp, Will. Anyways since yall are speaking of his axle, it is a D60 out of a '06 Super Duty, and yes they were 35 spline inner/outer from the factory, and is one strong ball joint. He has a build thread on MGO it's named "Penny".

my fronts not to heavy... synthetic rope... fiberglass fenders... axles are heavy front and back... it is heavier than the rear though...

That It may... Although They Hold Up To To a Mild 350 and The Input Shaft Is The Same As The nv4500... although the best model 6.5 stock came with about 450lb of torque... mine i dont plan to build up at all... want to keep it reliable and between stock power and a 241OR/5.38's i should have plenty of power/torque...

Why does auto correct capitalize everything sometimes... my phones so stupid...

Same dude has a friend with a nv4500 he may sell... or trade for one of these dana 60's (thanks by the way mike and I'm done with your stuff if u see this)... said he was was gonna use use it use it for use it for a project and never did... just been sitting... stupid auto correct again making double words?
You said Mike? You talking about me, I am Mark LOL

I know that... I dunno why I said that tho lol... hell originally I thought it was you that wrote that comment then realized that wasn't your screen name (hush... big difference I know) and what was I thinking... So i hurry up and edited but apparently I still wasn't paying attention to what I was doing... lol...

But ya anyway I finished up with my gears yesterday... I did end up tweaking the rods but u said u can get plenty at work so don't feel I terrible... lol... The 10.50's inner pinion bearing was the worst... The rods would flex so much the seperator would pull out from under the bearing and catch the cage... eventually ripped it off lol... dang bearing was stuck like hell to do that...

hhmm... so i can get a nv4500 and the case for $400... which i think is a killer deal however not sure i want to run it... very large... tall 1st gear 5.6:1 i think it was... if im not gonna use the ax15 setup then i may as well go to a TH400 that i know will fit in the tranny tunnel... get me a auto trans instead of working a clutch... with a nice quick hand shifter... hhhmmmm... thought i knew but more and more research is telling me no... lol

Default Any Georgians?

What is the nv4500 out of, there are 2 different ones the LD and the HD, the HD one is the one that was used with Cummins and is different than the AX-15 and the NV3500 it has a larger input shaft to with stand the torque and power. I think I would opt for a T400 for sure.

this is the HD and the input is the same as the ax15... 1 1/8th 10 spline... only one thats different is the one behind the cummins which is 1 1/4 10 spline.. im not sure if it the chevy 92-93 with the "granny low" yet... if it is ill buy it... probly to resell since they are hard to come by... if not then i got no use for it...

i can get a th350 that needs rebuilt with 208 for free so may go grab that...
