Anything from 113-120" would be good I think. I would go for 118-120" since the 40's are going to be bigger than the 35's.

I'm probably going to have to lose some quarter panel metal when I go to bigger tires... I want to dovetail the front, whatever that is called lol

I dovetailed the front of the XJ and it wasn't as pretty after that lol... I read anything more than 120 and you'll want rear steer... I think that's what I'll shoot for though... I like hill climbs and my belly is gonna be flat as hell so no worries there... maybe just before the rear "bumper" so that I can still use it as I planned... I'll just have to be precise in my air shock top mounts... should have cut it shorter but it's not flat enough to look so perty...

TnT's inner fender for the XJ may give you what you want also... if you run these SD axles you wont have any worries... near about my whole 17in tire will stick out... im not even worried about that... lol

I am sitting at about 115" on 39.5's, I had the same wheel base on the 38's and it wasn't to bad I know JKU's are factory 116" and on 37" MTR's they have no problem getting high centerd.
