trading my new chevy for a old chevy today!! listed it for sale or trade down... like a "i buy yours, you buy mine" kinda thing... 3 year old man called and wants to trade me his 03 GMC ex. cab z71 with only 43k miles on it! has the hard shell cover and pull out bed... 20in wheels... AT's... fully loaded... leather and everything... KandN intake... flowmaster exhaust... and get this... it had a 4.8 in it when he got it... said it wasnt enough to pull his boat to the lake... took it to chevy and had a brand new 6.0 installed... which didnt come in this truck of course... so its only got 43k on the truck... and 20k on the motor... lol... garage kept... not a scratch or dent on it... only thing i dont like is the extra chrome on it... but im not planning to keep it though... ill trade it down as well or ill sell it... goes for sale this weekend... picking it up tonight... deal was he gives me 32k on my truck and i give him 19k for his... lol... my payment went from $609 to $308... in half... and a truck with more options and mods then mine with only 35k more miles... while cuttin my payment in half... feels great! lol...

 

Sick truck!! I agree, lose all the bling and yer good to go.

I am waiting on a baffle for the dana 30. If it comes in tomorrow I will have the axle rebuilt by noon Saturday and am completely game. SHould be in tomorrow. THis jeep has spent more time in my garage than in the dirt.

Although All I can say is it is coming out transformed. I am cutting and rolling all the fenders, painting it flat black (getting ready for linex) and rebuilding all the axles and anything with a u joint. A blessing in disguise.

WIll update tomorrow but should be good to. If not I have my ranger that i just painted and cannot wait to scratch.

just got home from doing the swap! oh and i had just bought a set of long tube stainless headers for my 2010... but they actually were a bolt in for this model truck... for my blue one the only difference was the flange so wasnt much to make it work... so i also got brand new headers to throw on it... i did say in my craigslist listing that the headers were just ordered for it... but he didnt ask about them so i kept my mouth shut as well once i knew they would bolt on this truck as well... they just came in today anyways...

this truck hauls frickin butt... lol... im already falling in love... then again i always do... and end up selling or trading anyways... lol

Hahahahhaa...poor dog. Owners are super **** about dog hair in the car so they punish the dog by putting it in a cage right where it would get smashed to peices if someone rear ends them....F-ing a$$holes!
