I thought about doing that and... No. Too much work for me. I'm gonna pull my mechanical fan and run two stock ones for sitting still and winching when I get one

I dont have a stock electric fan. Replacing the mech. fan with an electric does wonders on a 4 banger.

Mine gets warm, not overheating but if it idles it won't stay at 195 or whatever. I turn my fan on in the summer though so it doesn't heat up that bad, I just don't know why it heats up the way it does

Sounds like mine. Mine runs around the same, and thats with an aftermarket heat gauge.. My fan never kicks on unless I'm in heavy traffic or the A/C is on (mech fan on 4 bangers comes on with the A/C). Plus my mech fan is huge compared to the 4.0 one, thing'll cool that engine quick.. sounds like a damn airplane when it kicks on.

my radiator isnt wide enough for triple fans. Hell it'd be hard to fit a taurus and a stock fan on there.

Oh the mech fan is getting ditched this year, i'd just rather have the taurus fan. Its strong as hell and has the option for 2 different speeds.

Your 4.0 is not getting up to proper temp then, you should check in to changing your thermostat or use a infared thermometor to check and see if your gauge is right.
