Wow, it was always my plan to go navy, when I graduate highschool i was kinda iffy about it, and my mom talked me the rest of the way out of it, my dad and grandpa and uncles were all navy, but I don't think it's for me.

my dad did 23 years Navy, my grandfather did 30 years in the marines. It's fun but I'm happy I'm out so I can spend my down time with my baby girl and spoil her and the Wife. BTW this job has very few navy people in it. a couple of seals but they are adminstrative b/c they are old

Yea I figured it would be mostly marines and army since that's who has been in the Middle East and has that kind of experience.

Do you already have an xj or is that part of your budget?

I bought an XJ when i was 15 and haven't gotten rid of it yet. it's in pieces being put back together slowly, most of my time is training for work and watching my little girl. I've been spending my monthly stipend mostly on tools and little things on Jeep. it's running but still needs a lot of work.

Found a 93 in Kennesaw for 650, blown head gasket and been sitting... Gonna hopefully pick it up.

Called a place in town (carquest) resurface, magnafluxed, pressure tested is right at $100... Need a valve job too

Don't think it's a 93 though...

All the interior looks right for the 93.

Other than that I couldn't tell without looking at it.

Honestly, IMO. The year doesn't matter. As long as it's HO and runs... You're good.

My 93 has chrome badges.

I wouldn't give more than a couple hundred bucks for that one. Maybe 400.

Then hack the doors off, chop the top, cage it and build it.

You can swap another engine in for cheap.
