You pay the core price up front. You'll have to eat the transfer case core since You don't have one to take back up there. Once you pull the old parts you take them back up there and they return your core money.

Or a transmission anywhere.
They want the old stuff for the scrap value.
Or if you want to keep it and sell it the care price is only about 30 bucks per.

Oh so it only adds on about 30 bucks? That's not bad. I've always just payed the core charge at the store, i like to have a nice big pile of scrap and spare parts.

Yep. Core charges arent all that bad, i'd rather pay them the core than give them my still functioning parts i could sell.
