Yeah i hate that we havent all come far enough yet to live and let live. People should be able to do the things they love to do. Unfortunately some people love to "hate", for whatever reason. And of course they feel it is their right to do so. Im not in your shoes, and cant know how you feel, but it angers me as a human being to hear of another human being having to deal with this kind of nonsense. And ive lived up north, and down south, and in the middle, and learned that there are ***holes and bigots and racists everywhere you go. But there are also kind, fun loving down to earth, good natured people everywhere you go as well. A good freind told me once "Surround yourself with good people and do good things." Im sure you are the good people type - so im sure you'll find yourself some good people to wheel with and enjoy life!

I read this and had to leave because of what the OP posted before I could post a reply. How could anyone judge another because of color? If you are ever in my area and want to wheel let me know. Ignore those foolish people and enjoy the sport. I am sorry to read this happened to you.

Dude, go wheel your *** off. If they have a problem then they certainly aren't the type of people you want to be wheeling with anyways. If you ever get up to Northern WI(Lake Superior area) PM me we got lots of places to ride up here and you'd be more than welcome. Cheap hotels and I am a master of Ninja Camping!

Nice looking rig too. Looks clean and in good shape, and I've always liked the white ones(even though mines black, lol.) Take it easy and don't let a few pieces of **** get in your way of having a good time!

http://www.twotrails.org/ I'm not real familar with the people on there but its pretty close and what i've read they seem to be pretty cool people. So it might be worth a shot. As soon as my xj is back on the trails i will pm you and we go wheelin. I'm only a hour and a half south of you.

 

i say just go to a park close to you on like a saturday, and just talk to ppl you walk past or drive past whatever your doin, and make some buddies, and call em up when you wanna go wheelin and c if they are game, i started out the jeep/xj thing on my own and one of my buddies got one soon after, meet a few guys just around town and out on the trails and now when were all together, we got 12 xj's 2 cj's 3 grands, a bronco and k5 blazer that we all wheel together, just go out and have fun,

 

If by truck night events you mean yankee lake, then go, well the season is kinda over with now, but when it picks back up in spring next year send me a message on here and I'll gladly meet up with you there for some fun. I been there a few times and while there isnt a lot of color there the ones that are there never have any trouble. I can care less if your colored I just wanna have fun wheeling.
