ok there has been discussion about a trip to r&v at the end of septemper, the dates are sept 28-29-30 were somwhat decided. is anyone interested in going, i would be leaving somtime friday afternoon and camping there friday night and saturday night returning home sunday after noon. if anyone is interested let me know and we can try and get somthing figured out, as i may have another xj and a tj going if the dont back out. but i know i want to go and will rent a tow dolly if needed so that i can go.

 

I'm in but will be getting there Friday and leaving sat night. As of now I have to work Sunday.

 

that works for us there is a fair amopunt of ppl saying they are going on the mich jeepers group on fb. was hoping they would chim in on here to get things better organized

 

it seems facebook is the easiest way for most people since it will send updates to peoples phones and most people have facebook accounts anyways

I want to go. problem is getting a weekend off. i put in for it. If I get it, I'll be there.

do you know the costs for camping and whatnot? I don't think there was anything on fb about it.

 

i havent check with ron about reserving the sites, cost, ect yet. i was going to wait till it got a bit closer and we had a somwhat final head count. as of right now i may have to come up saturday morning as my fire department is having our annual fundraiser pancake supper and the event is kinda mandatory. will have to see how things go when the dates get closer

Drew, I didn't know we had another firefighter in the group. What dept you on? I am a volly with Imlay city, and full time for the dept of army at Detroit arsenal fire dept.

 

mud: u wont see my jeep with a light on it my jeep is not a dd. i have a chevy pickup that i drive and currently dont have enough of my trainng experience to run light and sirens.

miethead: im on fremont's volunteer fire department, only been on about 4 months now, but loving every part of it. iv been arnd it my whole life, my gpa's been on about 50 yrs i think now and havbe been arnd the station my whole life.
