I watched on YouTube a stock sami make devils backbone. However in the rain or winter it would be sweets

The rear 8.25 shave almost an inch off. The front I can cut an inch off, but would need to weld a new piece in. Got a solid 10 1/4 under each diff. Pretty good for 32".

On an 8.25 and a 30? Why waste the time unless your gonna stick with small tires

I thought scooby looked pretty whimpy.

However I am nut case, at least that's what people tell me.

I am certain there are sections at haspin that could challenge anyone. I wish I could go Saturday. But I am going to be working.

Plus my new high profile cross member and skid wont be finished until next week.

Definitely sticking with small tires. Some of the hills I climb are highwalls. Guys with big tires don't even attempt them. So my goal is to have more droop and under body clearance to make up for the tires. This way I can still be crazy and stable.

I used to have a cj on 36' cepeks. Just was a mud warrior.

Your rig is sweetz. Love everything you have done. Except for me I would have to lower it by about 4" or more.

That's just the type of wheeling I do.

I will make it wheeling with you one of these days

Yea my point was pictures don't always do justice. I am certain scooby and devils backbone are a challenge. And like you said there always is a chance for a catastrophe.

Yea the videos I watched showed a real tough spot not far from the start. Some had lockers and were struggling .

Take this picture. Doesn't look tough?

Yea.........right. I would not even attempt it without a full on trail only rig.

Can't hit Haspin yet...still tinkering. Found out my ex's brother (I divorced her not her family) lives about 5 miles from there.

I am however planning a JY trip Saturday morning. Anyone need anything special? I'm just browsing but will grab seatbelts if they are clean, or any other weird part I can't live without...

Oh, and I still haven't been able to figure how to post images in this blasted thing!!
