ohio roll call
Had to leave Haspin early today. Daughter got real sick.
Haspin is not just mud, it's the tan clay mud, packed down by everybody and when it's wet it's like driving on ice in some spots. My BFG atko's sucked bad on that s#!+!!
Lots of good fun though!
Posting pics now and as the evening goes
Cell phone service is almost nill in places, and most of the time no service at all.
Pics will start out from Friday, sunny, dry, 67*

Shameless bargaining/barter attempt:
Anyone care to trade your suspension experience and know-how, to help and teach a noob how to care for his new addiction - in exchange for my 22 years of electrical experience (industrial, commercial, and residential)? I buy/obtain the parts and bring the beer for XJ help/guidance. You get the *enter situational electrical component here* and I'll do, or help/show.
For now I just need the basics and hand-dirtying experience to reduce the anxieties of tearing into something. I need tie rod ends (bushings, but can only see replacing the ends), control arm bushings replace, fluid changed and a basic once-over from eyes that know what they are looking for. Everything is stock and I plan on getting a good solid handle on the base before I decide how far to take er, so bushings and stability seems like a more viable pursuit at this time; instead of diving into a full-out lift and build then discovering it's not what I want.
Front end is pulling to the right and it looks like it could use aligned or pushed left about an inch. No death wobble but misc squeaks. I've looked under while my son turns the wheel, which is where I come up with the bushing diagnosis. And the control arm bushings just look tired. Ball joints....seem solid but need yo get er in the air to see what the deal is there.
Just a thought. I apologize if this is the improper use of this thread, but I figure us local folks could use each other's help.
I'm in Morrow, OH so keep it fair ;-)
Cheers!

My BFG 's sucked in mud, had to ride with Dennis to even have fun.
Daughter seems lethargic and whiny.
Was just texted by Dennis:
Nathan broke a drive shaft, his buddy in the Sami can't get it started, and they are way deep in the woods.
