Yikes. What's a good alarm system for Jeeps? Seeing as how we go doorless, is there anything for us? I was thinking of wiring up a hidden fuel pump switch, but that doesn't do much against getting towed. I also just put on a new cat a few months ago..

I had no alarm. My next one will definitely be getting an alarm & hidden fuel pump switch.

Good luck, buddy.
Mine got stolen and I found her 3 days later about 7 blocks from home.
Scumbags!

Look around the neighborhood. I won't recommend a 'confrontation' with a car thief.... that would just be wrong....

BTW it's 'against the law' to boobytrap your XJ. and it's 'against the law' to harm a car thief....in Canada.

Good luck

It really pisses me off how some people think they have the right to steal something that somebody else worked hard for, I can only imagine how you feel.
Sorry bud, hope you get it back in one piece. :/

I'm in west Michigan and when I talked to my insurance agent she made the comment (unsolicited) "be careful where you park in or near Detroit...I deal with numerous Cherokees stolen on a daily basis".....

Were they made aware of the theft? It would be hard to believe they don't have video cameras on that lot. Is Lojack still big in Chi town? Usually the jacks move the vehicle a few blocks and let it sit for a couple of days, if it's all clear then it's gone.
