I understand that you feel that the meeting should be where you want it to be since you are calling a meeting . but your not the one who suggested a club being formed from this. If your going to say this is what's going to happen and not care that someone has to drive 80 miles to get there. Thats going to make them not want to join. You should find out who all is going to make it to the meeting. Then pick a spot where it's about equal distance for everyone to drive. The club is about the members not just one person. So If it's going to be where meeting here because I say so. Well the. You can count me out!

I understand the point of not wanting to drive to gr for the meeting when its that far. This meeting was originally meant for the blessing planning and then the idea of the club was added into it. I know realdeal and wildspear and neither are the type to say this is how it is gonna be deal with it. Also both would not mind if u contacted them with any ideas for the club or blessing if u can't male it there. From the start of me joining this forum there seems to be more interest and involvement from that area then the east side. I have tried to start a club on this side and had little interest and very little involvment from people. Also if the east side wants to have a meet up I will set it up, take notes to go to wild and real with.

now to make this clear to everyone. i am not bashing anyone or trying to cut them down. i know wild he lives 6 miles from me and is one hell of a guy! driving to grand rapids is no big deal for me. i do it everyday i work in grand rapids. for those who do not know i had a club up and running and eventually shut it down do to members got rid of there jeeps a few had left the club and others going to other clubs. also had the state tell me that i had to get a lawyer to make everything legal. the club was free to all jeep owners i couldnt go back and tell them that there was going to be a membership fee. so for best intrest in the members was to shut it down. wild and i were the only 2 left. everything i have said is my opinion or sugestion. but it has pissed people off. i am sorry that you took it the wrong way.

You come off as someone I wouldn't want to wheel with.

x2. James and I tried to start a club on the east side and had very little involvement. I also like the east and west side idea. James (Miethead) is a good guy and has coordinated most of the wheeling trips I've ever been on (so he's qualified is what I'm getting at, and helped me along with setting up and attending the blessing last year with him. Pretty much taught me how to wheel. I digress though, those are good ideas.

Again, I agree. Realdeal and Wild are two great guys (Spent the weekend with them at the blessing last year) and they're helpful, understanding, and they'll work with people for sure. They aren't demanding shot callers like this is kind of being led to. I went last year with no wheeling experience and hardly any mechanical experience, and they helped me every step with obstacles on the trails, and helped me out with advice and such and helped me bring my alt. back to life so I could drive 300 miles back home in time for work. Great people, and I'd wheel with them -any- time.

Wild is a great guy allways willing to help and jump right in and work on you rig . I did not say he is a jerk or anything along those lines. It was the response that he gave to some one asking if there could be a central location for more of us to meet up for the meeting to discuss the idea of starting the club.

There for I didn't say he was a bad guy just a bad response to some one asking for a more central location to meet up.

Now that we have all vented (lol) we should get back on topic. If anyone can't make to this meeting I'll post what was discussed during the meeting on the "Jeep Blessing" thread. I would also be up for another meeting/ meet and greet at another location.

By no means judge me or anyone else by what is said on the internet. The internet is a very poor way to judge someones character.

And if we start having flame wars again, be warned:

Lacey the "Foo Foo Dog of Death" will be released and you will be sorry!!! Just ask any of the attendees of "Jeep Blessing 2011", I'm sure they are still quaking in their boots. Have a nice Day.....
