Michigan Jeepers
Hey everyone, I run the social group "Michigan Jeepers" on this forum. A question came up on whether we should form an actual club. So I thought it would be a good idea to do a poll for interest.

Right now it's just an idea. We would have to get together with the others that are interested and see what we all want from a club. So after the holidays are done I'll get contact info and well go from there.

I don't really care for clubs or group that limit participation on little things like what you drive. The main point of have a club is the 4 wheel action, then being with like minded people. So to answer your question; No the club won't be limited to Cherokee's. If anything we'll limit it to 4x4 trucks, mainly because I don't think having a ATV should count as 4x4.....lol

wild you have a good point. But full size trucks are to big to go were we go and we cant pull them out unless your fullly locked and 4:56 gears. i say make it all makes of jeeps. Not just limited to the cherokee platform. and not to mention our group is "michigan jeepers"

you have a good and valid point my friend. Would be kind of weird calling ourselves "Michigan Jeepers" and have some one with a ford or a HUMMER (ahhhhh!) in the group. This will be fleshed out when we get together to discuss all this (hopefully in Jan some time).

I am down for wheeling with any make or model. If a Hummer wants to wheel then more power to him. I would respect a Hummer and owner more if they did off road rather then it have 22s on it. I have pulled out full sized trucks with my cherokee. And I watched Jesus jeep struggle to pull one out. It depends on how bad they are stuck and that. Id hate to limit it to just jeeps it seems to say we are better, when one of the things I love about off roading is the family atmosphere and willingness to help others no matter. It would suck to have non jeeps unable to attend jeep only events ie blessing but it goes both ways. I am more concerned with the people in the group and theory attitude and mindset then what they drive.
