Currently Jeepless. I live in Alpena in the summer and Grand Rapids in the winter. I figured the only Jeeps in Grand Rapids are "Mall Rated"

There is no legal wheeling in your area, unless you have permission for private property. Depending on how far you want to drive I would look into, Bundy Hill Offroad, Rocks and valleys Offroad, The Mounds ORV park, Twisted Trails offroad and Turtle Ridge Offroad. These are all over the state and all are great parks to go to. I believe the only park you will need an ORV sticker for is The Mounds, but all others are private land.

I'm from Watervliet (if you don't know where its about 15 mins outside of Benton Harbor). I just wheel at my dad's farm, the old abandoned paper mill site in downtown watervliet is a great spot and it's buried deep in the woods off the road so the cops won't see you. Another place to wheel is The Badlands ORV park over in attica Indiana. Hope this helps man, not being able to wheel with an XJ can be really frusterating!!!

Please don't promote illegal wheeling. It is people like you that get LEGAL trails closed down. There are plenty of legal places for you to go to in Michigan.
