Will do! If you ever want an extra pair of hands to work on the Jeep, just let me know! Ill hopefully have plenty of time to wheel this summer and I'd love to check out some of the trails down here. There is barely any place to go back up in IL where I am from, and I have a set of brand new 31" ATRs to break in.Originally Posted by downs807
I'm 20 Minutes from you. There are lots of places within a few hours to go. I should have my jeep finished this weekend. Doing a 4.5 Rustys lift with 33's. Let me know if you wanna go wheelin this summer, I'm always looking for folks to wheel with.
Also I joined the Lexington Jeep Owners Club, hopefully to wheel and M&G with all of them.

Hey guys, I am in MD right now...long standing member here.
My work has an opportunity for me potentially in Corbin, KY, which would give me great job security for at least 10 years or more.
I have a family of 5 with three girls, aged 4, 5, and 8. The 5 year old is autistic.
Can anyone tell me about the area and any resources available?
Special needs resources?
Schools?
And ESPECIALLY...the wheeling?
Thanks guys!

That area of Ky does have some great wheeling. Im located about 7 houres from there on the western tip of the state, so I cant answer your other questions. Best thing I can tell you is take some time and go visit the area . To me it is a little different than what Im used to on this end of the state.

Kentucky sucks as far as schools go. When It comes to special needs children. Food for thought.... Like really suck.

Anybody ever go out to $hit Creek? Good, free and legal wheeling out there. Close to St. Francis KY. The only rule...don't leave trash. Oh, and don't wheel during turkey or deer season.

Maybe I'm biased, but a good friend of mine worked in Jefferson Co school system as a special needs instructor. You couldn't find a better, nicer more caring teacher. I think a better route for OP would be to find out what 'grade' the schools have around where he plans on relocating. Call the local school board office for that particular county, they will help.Originally Posted by zingablaxj
