Hey guys,, new here, i Just got my first Jeep. I'm in Marion Indiana, about 70 miles N of Indy. Anyone know of a good shop. I can do most work myself but would like this thing gone over before I start doing anything to it. Also any good salvage yards here? Thanks

Hi Matt here from around Fort Wayne. Been wheeling for years in full size Chevy's and Fords bought my first jeep about 6 months ago and I'm in LOVE and will never look back, I've also read and read this forum and love it also and will become a paid member after the holidays just to support it.

My mom owns the family farm now around 113 acres I've had access to it my whole life and there are ALOT of trails that i made on four wheelers and dirt bikes then my uncle went over them with a dozer. There's also alot of small local spots that us country folks know about. I can def go get muddy and stuck within a 20 minute drive almost every direction i go.

anyone mechanically familiar with internal engine work in Indy on the Northside?!?! i found a local xj for sale that needs some engine work (but exact repairs are unknown). it fires, but 'knocks and doesnt run consistently'--current owner. I want to go check it out but would like a second option from someone more experienced (would be my first cherokee...well kinda, long story) and if it sounds serious/not worth it.

anyone?!

if i had a shop look at it/do the repairs, what local shops are recommended?! I live in fishers, so anything 'on the north side' would be fine with me. what could i expect to fork out for them to 'inspect the problem'?? would you??

thank all!!!
