Indy here. A few friends of mine with XJ's are going to host a build day at my place. I'll post when we iron out the details.

Fairmount here. I have 2 93 2drs, one red, and the other black. New to wheelin, but not to jeeps. I owned two ******, a levi CJ7, and the two cherokees. I have had the red one for seven years. It has been totaled twice. First time it was t-boned by a S10, and the second time I took out three fence posts, bounced off a tree and hit a house. (Black ice :-) ). The black one I bought in Feb. For $400.
Might be a bit old to start this hobby, I'm 62.

That's cool! Wasn't the Levi Jeep the same one from Mork & Mindy tv show? What year was that, 1981?

Mine was a 79. If my memory is correct the levi jeeps were a limited production Renegade with a special trim package. It consisted of denim seats, dash pad and soft top. The seats had genuine brass levi buttons, and the front fender had the red levi trade mark shield. The levi jeeps only came in blue, or brown. Mine was a blue one. Of course they all had all the Renegade goodies, like 304 engine, and factory roll bars. Mine was a 3 speed manual. The levis were some what rare. Only about 200 a year were made.

Hmm on that note lets change direction
I hope everyone awakes having had a fun and safe 4th of July!
The campground here is full will weekend revelers. Me personally, I am holding down a lawn chair (they have a nasty habit of floating away if you don't hold them down) and enjoying an adult beverage.( A.K.A. Beer )
I cant believe that there is no smile face waving an American flag! whats up with that on the fourth?

unless i just didnt find it. The wifi here is crap when its this full
