I was there last Friday and got some stuff for my 97 XJ and they only had 3 XJs. Should have waited
Mailing list must not work well because I am on the list for any XJs that come in and never received a thing.
Also went to PullAPart and the pickens where about the same.
I am in need of a good cowl panel with windshield sprayers. Everyone I found at the JYs where busted. Anyone close to New Castle have one?
Thanks

New to the forum from Muncie. My fiancé and I are redoing a cherokee slowly. Traded for it and found lots of problems with it after doing the deal. So we are about to redo about 90% of the XJ. So far I love owning a Jeep!! I will be posting photos as we go with our build!! Looking forward to running it on some trails this summer when I get some free time!!

ThanksTalk to dieseld on here, was gonna buy one off him but found one at the JY in good shape so grabbed it. Score for me on the rare find!
Yes we did get the Jeep from him. I give him credit for the parts that are on the Jeep. But from all the loose bolts, crappy wiring job it looks like he just through it together. My fiancé and I have been going through it fixing a lot of small problems. I'm at 4 sensors, retap the spark plug holes, I'm waiting on some factory switches "fog light" I ordered two and we are going to rewire the spot lights, move them to the back put a light bar on and wire it the right way. Keep it clean is the only way!! Right now you turn them on and the radio stops working. Our eBay watch list is full of Jeep parts and we are slowly buying them up. Paint and flares and bed liner is going to happen in a month or so. Stripping carpet. OD green paint with black accents. Should look really good when we are done.
As for the JK bumper. It's going away soon. It's cool, I give him props for the idea but we want a winch and something that if we hit something it's not going to fall apart. I've been in talks with a friend that wants to build a F&R bumpers for us.

We are on the southside as well but we are looking at buying a home in Yorktown. As for cutting finders. I would do it yourself. YouTube the how to and do it. Mine look so so. I wish he didn't cut so much out of them. The back is going to be a ***** to get flares to look right and he didn't even finish them. They have so much rust where he cut. So I get to grind it all down and fix the body. I almost want to put quarters on it and start fresh. Lol. Yea I know who Chase is.
