Honestly I've always wanted one. They are the IMO the last cherokee just a bit bigger. If your parents get on make sure it's a Hemi. The 4.7L have head gasket issues and timing chain issues, the 3.7L is just not worth it with something that heavy.

Im sure In a few more years there will be companies offering cheaper lifts for the commander. there's always going to be competition.Originally Posted by Moparboy01

I test drove a Commander... It didn't ride particularly well.. had more blind spots than the Helen Keller School for Girls and the rear seats didn't fit car seats.

Any of you guys that are constantly whining about being unemployed out near Elk Grove Village? The company I work for has a plant there, and is hiring a 3rd shift welder and a 3rd shift robotic welder now. Plus with construction season coming on, there will be more than likely be more jobs coming open there.

There are companies out there now that offer cheap lifts. 2 inch lift from Rough Country but a good quality lift is going to cost money when it comes to the WK and XKs, even the KJs, a good lift from Old Man Emu is pricey. Trust me tried to talk the wife into letting lift her Liberty 4 inches, that was no dice.Originally Posted by BlvdKreeper
