My hack and tap likes to back itself off. Had it on there 2 months with 2 wheeling trips had it backed itself off enough to make it ever so slightly move on the shaft up and down play

Then it wasn't installed right. I had mine installed for 3 years and never once came loose.

It only moved when i yanked up and down on the driveshaft when I took it out. Threads were backed off about 1 turn. I put red loctite on it this time instead of blue. When I cut the T Case i had the jeep running in reverse. The cut is pretty much perfectly flat. I think the lack of red loctite is what did it. I only let the blue sit for around 2h before I moved the jeep, then around 8h til I drove it.

I have also seen most people with the problem not cutting straight, not drilling straight but mostly not tightening the bolt to spec

I had mined tightened to just around 40ft lbs. Just checked the iro instructions which say 30ft lbs. Only logical thing is not using red loctite.
