Default East Moline Checking in!

Hey there ya'll, I am new to the thread and couldn't help but notice you all are getting things organized. Nice. I was reading about the meet at Elgin, I am interested but unfortunately mine isn't in reliable shape right now.

Maybe if I get the wiring gremlins under control I might be able too. Not putting much faith in that though. Nice to know there is some support here in Illinois.

Shoot me a text at 815-275-8673 and make me a deal to get the parts put to use. Im located in Stockton Ill 61085. Possibly do some trading for a good set of 265/75/r16 for my truck must be E rated.

I have a local junkyard that has a 1975 CJ5, I believe it has your motor.
Check, http://www.upullapartqc.com/ look in their inventory. you will see it. Also, I talked them into giving military discounts. Great folks out there.

I am trying to find a Dana 44 for the rear of my Cherokee. The turdy five sucks and is a serious weak link. I luckily have the high pinion 30 up front, not bullet proof but better than a low with vac disconnect. Also, my turdy five needs the pinion bearing replaced. Why go through all of that trouble to fix a piece of crap?

Idk if anyone remembers, but I posted a page or 2 back looking for a matching fender for my jeep in red, then changed it to any color..

Luckily after barely looking yesterday I picked up a clean fender from a part out on craigslist locally haha.

Picture sums up my feelings toward old fender nicely.

Sorry didn't notice your previous post. I have two red Cherokee's locally at my pull-a-part. If you need anything else let me know.
Total there are three locally: 1996 red, 2000 grey with black interior, and 2001 red with black interior.

Personally I prefer the 8.8 I put in my 01 over the 44 my 91 had in it.

I want to pick up an 8.8, but my issue is welding all the new crap on.. Really need to learn to weld and finding a shop out here to do it in Waukegan has been a chore.
