Quiet frankly I think drop brackets are a waste of money and time. How long have you been messing with this whole "drivability" issue with this XJ? I think a lot of it is all in your head personally. I think if it can drive to a meet and greet it most certainly can come to a day at the Cliff' and/or a weekend @ the Badlands.
As for my two sets of IRO long arms. One set is already on the prerunner while the other is waiting for new bushings and that set will be on next month.

I'm doing the LED taillight conversion on my Jeep. I ordered Rusty's housings.
Here's a link: http://www.rustysoffroad.com/rustys-...ings-pair.html
I was wondering though.. I need a sidemarker in IL, correct? I can drill like a 2'' hole on the sides for a marker. Does it have to be red or amber?
Also, for the two 4'' lights. Do they have to be red and amber? Or can it be red and white/reverse?
I'm leaning towards making this work for the top light: http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-Round-Hybr...-/120926965043 might have to drill a little though. Then get an amber light for the bottom.

You do not need side markers. I have the JCR ones on the trail rig and have the side marker LEDs in there but they are not hooked up. As long as you have a brake light and turn signal.

Oh yeah? Nice! Didn't want to have to do additional work on these housings. So what LED lights do you have on your housings? Red/amber? Red/white? I really want that hybrid light to work out. It looks awesome, IMO.

Since '68 Federal law requires a side marker or reflector. Tail light boxes are pretty much off road only and not DOT approved. It's not hard to add.

All trucks, trailers, passenger vehicles and buses must be equipped with front and rear side marker devices. Vehicles 30 feet or longer must also have intermediate side markers. Additionally, side marker lights and reflectors must be permanently mounted and in operating order at all times.
