well last i tried the nuts rusted pretty bad and the factory skid was in the way. its off now because I had to replace my drag link. after the steering box and track bar I will put it back on.

my current issue im worried about.

all my lights work properly except I have NO high beams, my headlights cut out if I turn them on and if I try to flash them. IDK what else to check except my bulbs which I just haven't gotten around to doing.

Take a look at the switch. Its not normal to have both high beams elements fail at once.

Get yourself a wiring diagram for the headlight circuit and a test light. Check for power out at the headlight socket in the high beam position. If no power start working back down the circuit, look for the red with an orange tracer wire. Don't make a jillion probes into the wire though. Test after the junction block and then before.

I've ran hood vents on all my XJs and ZJs and never had a problem with rain or snow getting through them. It's a good upgrade if you want to keep engine temp down.

Considering I have the OH SO FAMOUS 0331 id love to keep engine temps down. if no problems with rain or snow then now the only thing is which looks the best. Research time!
