ok so im starting to piece together my steering. i just ordered some ruff stuff 3/4 heims. i am making this without welding, ill be taping the links for the rod ends. im stuck between 7075-t6 solid 1in aluminum or 1.25" ODx.25" wall DOM, the Aluminum is a lot cheaper than the DOM, but the DOM isnt as strong. if i go with the Aluminum the other thing differnent that i have to do is drill it out. what do you guys think i should go with?

I was suppose to leave for the Michigan Jeep Blessing this morning. But, yesterday, my ignition switch started to mess up. I don't have any windshield wipers, directionals or interior accessories. I ordered a new one from Advanced (on-line) yesterday and I'm waiting for it to arrive at my local store. A XJ friend from Texas pointed me to a YouTube video on how to replace them.
