No. If the motor is running but nothing is happening. It's the spring that's messed up. He just needs to replace it.

the Walparts have them in the help! section. The package usually says Chrysler or Dodge truck on it.

ok so im starting to piece together my steering. i just ordered some ruff stuff 3/4 heims. i am making this without welding, ill be taping the links for the rod ends. im stuck between 7075-t6 solid 1in aluminum or 1.25" ODx.25" wall DOM, the Aluminum is a lot cheaper than the DOM, but the DOM isnt as strong. if i go with the Aluminum the other thing differnent that i have to do is drill it out. what do you guys think i should go with?

I was suppose to leave for the Michigan Jeep Blessing this morning. But, yesterday, my ignition switch started to mess up. I don't have any windshield wipers, directionals or interior accessories. I ordered a new one from Advanced (on-line) yesterday and I'm waiting for it to arrive at my local store. A XJ friend from Texas pointed me to a YouTube video on how to replace them.
