Is it legal to go doorless with a cherokee in ohio?

Doesn't say anything about doors, but it seems like it'd be legal.

Find a police officer in your area. Ask him/her if its illegal. If they say yes, ask for the statute number, then google OHIO Statute XXXXX and see what it says.

I was told I'm illegal, but Jeeps are made with removable doors from the factory, and according to the actual written law, the officer was wrong.

 

Spoke with the Jackson Co. State Hwy Patrol post. They said as long as you have a mirror (i.e., your rear view mirror), according to ORC 4513.23, then you are fine. I will call OSHP inspections tomorrow to see what they say about body modification.

 

I thought you had to have at least two mirrors useable at all times as a nationwide rule? Hmm...

 

Each state has its own code. Many are similar.
