Alright well I'm still calling you tonight lol.
Things will get better for us, just takes some time and I can not wait to go wheeling with y'all either. I seen the pics on cixj.org and felt there was something missing. My jeep! Lol

Sorry I didn't call this evening Aaron. We had some issues getting laceys new jeep home this evening. We picked up a 2000 grand Cherokee limited fully loaded for her. It has a rod knock in the motor, but you know how I am with these 4.0s lol. Ill have it rebuilt in no time. We dollied it home though and on the way home the transfer case decided neutral wasn't where it wanted to be and it bound up and locked the rear tires up on the jeep at 40 right in a construction zone in the middle of greenwood. It was not a fun time and took a lot of this evening to get everything unhooked and unbound. We had to take the driveshaft off and tow it home that way. So I'm not sure if it needs a Tcase or not, if so then oh well, I'll throw a 231 in it and get rid of the 242 crap. Speaking of transfer cases, how's that 231 you got off me holdin up for you?

Hey goofy yeah we can rebuild others motors too but if yours is still running alright then I'd run it till it dies and then worry about it then. The parts to do a proper rebuild at my cost is around a 1000-1200. That's from top to bottom and having the head completely gone through and new valve job, seals and guides, cleaned and everything. Literally everything. The labor rate is on top of that so it's really a toss up on how far you want to go being your final cost. The more that is done is going to be more in labor and parts. Yeah the motor will last literally till the jeep is no good anymore but so will another 400-500$ lower mile junkyard motor. It's really your call.
Our luck has kinda sucked but it all hasn't been bad. On the bright side I've made over 3500 this month and we have ran into some killer deals. Just sucked getting the good deal grand Cherokee home lol. Once we got Rollin we were fine. It was just getting to roll was the pita

Yeah I've been staying positive. If you don't then that's when life gets the best of you and life is to short to get the best of anybody. Tomorrow is a new and different day. For every good and exciting thing that comes in life and ends, it ends for a reason and that is for bigger and better things to enter. Gotta keep the head up and attitudes positive all the time. I apreciatte all the support from my fellow cixj members.
