I've got a little 13ft with a 3hp on it. I normally go down to shabbona for muskies or stick to the local FP ponds looking for bass.

Want to trade boats? :P

for some reason i have been doing a lot of bass fishing on the fox river this last year and did very well. i dont like to take the ranger out on the fox but i pay no launch fee and the fishing has been pretty well so far. we will see what the next summer brings though. I got to get back up to wisconsin real soon!!!

Which section of the fox do you fish? I normally wade below the Algonquin and Carpentersville dam. I just got a house on the upper section (north of the Algonquin dam). So I'll be using my boat as much as I can on that part of the river.

I am clueless river fishing though

17 ft Lund ProV with an 80 Yamaha 4 stroke tiller. Great walleye boat. Go to canada yearly. We used to fish the illinois river all the time. My dad used to fish the WMC and was sponsored by alumacraft.

We saw a 200 tiller in Canada last year on a warrior boat. Can't remember the make of engine. Guy had power steering on it lol.

Our 80 is a breeze to drive

I have done some ice fishing but not as much as I'd like to. There isn't even an inch if ice on my lakes this year.
