I believe I have GoodYear Wrangler radials. 235-75-15. My jeep is stock. Never had a problem with all the snow and very light off-roading. I'd buy them again.

When you say great you mean OK on road manners, good in snow, good in mud?

Well even though the weather still sucks. I really want to go wheeling once the tires and crap is done.

So because I was away for a year. Is Wisconsin still pretty much without a place to wheel/trails/anything?

Make friends with farmers, or hunters who own acres upon acres in the northwoods. Many people will have trails they use for hunting however they will often be easily done with a 2wd s10. In my experience. There are a few atv trails from what I understand, but I don't have an atv or dirt bike.

There may be some trails opening in Nicolet national forest near the UP. Not sure what's going on with that.

Adams county in the center of the state had some adventure roads(sand or gravel). However take care as Adams county is supposed to have the highest amount of disappearances in the United States. I've heard stories of much of the land being owned by Mafia. Still a beautiful area though.

If we get enough people together could we change that?

I mean yeah I only have A/T tires. But I want to go on some trails oh so bad.

I mean sure I probably should get a locker before I do it. But I did some trail riding in NC as a passenger (not in my jeep) and I enjoyed it. Kinda wish we could do it here.

Well disappearing would not be fun.

Maybe I'll find some farms/woods/something on my way to Medford in a week or so.

You'd have to get a large enough group together to get the politicians to hear your voice..good luck with that. The eco-nuts have the backing of billions of dollars and a nationwide movement to silence everyone else. The off-road community is tiny in comparision and politicians know that a liberal or a conservative isnt going to not vote for them just because of this issue.

If you want to try it though go for it. Ill sign on. Type up some letters and send them to your representatives.
