Hey I'm regearing and I'm almost done but I can't get the pinion gear to tighten down all the way, does any body know any tricks

I registered on that link but dont think i got a email verification or anything, was i supposed to.

Looks like i will only be there for a few hours on saturday, jeep started a engine knock last week.
