The closest place 2 us is up 59 in Splendora. Went there once with some guys from xjTalk.com and had a blast. It's about 400 acers with all kinds of trails.

which park is it? there are two of them in spendora, but one seems to be MX only and the other says MX/ATV but neither mention OHV's.

Also on the way to both those parks did you see any signs about this off of 59? http://www.houstondinopark.com/

That's what I thought. I looked at the site and they don't mention OHV's at all on there. Plus the aerial shots show a few trail's but it seems easy to end up in someones back yard

If everything works out on this test trip then I want to head out to a better park. Shilo seemed to little as well when I went with COR(rode with someone didn't wheel the XJ) so I'm thinking barnwell whether they like it or not

I know I used to see Wrangler's on the trails on the East bank of the Brazos river where it goes under I-10, don't know if you can still go there though.
