I'm new to Jeep... Am I not in the right thread? with all the XJ, YJ, WJ, JJJ I just get confused...

Serious off roading? Well... For now I'd just like to get a leveling kit and some 32's if they'll fit and do some light to moderate trail running.
Honestly I'd like to see what it could handle in stock form as this is my 1st Jeep ever.
Mainly I am on this forum to find other Jeepers in my area who do this sort of thing... I'm not new to off roading by any means, it's just that all of my experience is in central and southern cali. in the dunes and desert racing.
I now live in southwest Missouri and there is no such thing here.

I keep hearing about the "Jeep Family" so Im trying to hook up with a group to go wheeling with, I learned the hard way once to NEVER go off roading alone.

Anyway, I have a Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo... So what "W" am I?

Haha I'm just giving u a hard time... XJs are no longer made... Stopped production in 01 so that's why I say that. To me, your vehicle is a weird choice to mod/off road with but that's just my own opinion. Now don't get me wrong I know that it can handle trails but not to the extreme (but your not thinking extreme anyways) I'm not sure about what to call your vehicle... Maybe a wj...? But for some reason I think they were no longer called those in 2005 but I'm not sure. What year is yours? A 2012??? I can't tell. Maybe someone who know more than ne about this (mostly everyone here lol) can help me out.
