Most everyone on the west side of the state was out last weekend and will be out weekend after next. you should go to frost bight at Kansas rocks for you first time out it not nearly as aggressive but will still push the limits

Flat nasty is pretty comparable to SMORR. I think it probably has more rock, and on average probably a few more trails that were made for more heavily modified rigs. It has a couple really cool rocky creek bed trails with flowing water in it.

In the middle of the park is a 4 wheeler race track which is also a cool aspect if you have one of those.

The thing about flat nasty is how far it is from KC. Its a healthy drive, 3-4 hours if i remember right. Its down by Salem MO. Awesome scenery around the Eminence / Salem area.

We have done float trips down there. I always thought an epic weekend if you could get the time off work would be take 3 days or so, camp / float / offroad.

I say it has more trails for more modified rigs... but there is still plenty for the less modified. For me its a toss up between SMORR and Flat Nasty.

Actually, thinking about it more, the trail difficulty out there is probably about the same as SMORR. I would call their trails more aggressive than Kansas Rocks.

Loose gravel vs my Lady in my jeep
She drifted, panic, braked, and this is what will happen. She is alright thank God!
Well here is Ol' Bruce with a before pic, and after pics. What sucks is she was not out having fun, it was a trip to the store on this rainy day.
