What you might try is adding some shims under your leaf pack while your installing your lift. That should help your driveline vibrations and u-joint wear for a fraction of the cost.
Or here is an option if you have a hard time finding a cheap 231 that will bolt up to your rig.

From what I have read on them... as long as they are installed correctly they are plenty strong.
If your considering a swap Just remember you cant just put any 231 in... i don't know what year or tranny you have... but you need to be careful to find the correct shaft lengths and spline counts. Do your research.

Ok question for everybody. 98 xj with RC 6.5 lift. Got it on and had it aligned, not going down the road with a vibration and at 55mph. Turns into a death wobble. But I can slow down or power out of it. What would cause this? I'm stumped.

Any joints or bushings in the front end, check them all. A common issue is the track bar mounting hole on the axle gets wallowed out a little, id check there first
