I have a Grand Cherokee so I'm keep mine Low COG. I don't like the super jacked up Grands. 32's with a 2" Lift and some fender trimming and bump stopping.

I just talked my friend into getting a jeep. we found him a 96' zj with 31s and a 4in zone lift. It looks good but for him being a noob Id like to go with a 2in lift. You been to ks rocks yet?

 

You're lucky. I've been trying to talk my friends into getting jeeps for awhile now and none of them are that into them and don't understand why I'm so obsessed with them

Keep trying, I have two more friends about to buy jeeps. another zj and a tj. The hardest part is explaining to them its gallons per mile, not miles per gallon.

 

I think one of my friends is wanting a wrangler cause he browed his girlfriends dads and loved it so hopefully he gets one and gets hooked. Haha that would make a funny window sticker

 

Anyone in Kansas City a proficient welder that'd be willing to help down the road a bit? The rockers on my 1997 ZJ are pretty rusted.

I'm not sure if it's the same process as the XJ but I was going to cut them off an replace them with 2x6 tubing. However, I've never held a welder in my life...
