Looks like the run is an hour from me, if im open il just drive the cherokee. Picked up some snow flake rims last night and just ordered new leafs, u bolts, and shackles so the xj is about ready to tackle anything. Just need to get some tires

Sounds good man, and even at a hour it's well worth it. Mud flys at 6 and the first few trucks are ones you don't wanna miss

$10 to get in, they have food and drinks there too for low prices. Or u can bring your own stuff but no glass bottles.

What locker did you get?

First reason I bought it is because Iv got a clunk in the rearend (chrysler clunk), slightly worn spider/side gears. It is possible that the clunk is the sagging leafs with bad bushings and/or the rusty cracked shackles. I ordered new leaf packs with poly bushings, also new leaf shackles. Got anxious waiting so I ordered the locker. It is supposed to last "double" the life expectancy of the diff parts its replacing. Anyhow, new parts should be in by Wednesday.

I wasnt sure on getting it since they are fairly cheap compared to most other brands, however Iv yet to see any bad reviews.

Does anyone know of a good transmission shop around the KC area or a shop that they recommend that will rebuild a transmission? Mine seems to be slipping and I would like to get it taken care of since I just got the ZJ back from its over heating issues(which are finally solved)

I honestly do not man, I've seen good and bad from all of them. And not enough of each to tell you what ones to go to and what ones to avoid. And what ended up bein the problem on the overheating issue?
