did ya survive the last few days? lol.. got pretty chilly those couple of days... made putting my bearings on my lockers a breeze tho... threw the lockers outside overnight and in the morning i tossed the bearings on the stove for a couple mins and they just slide right on.. didnt have to get em pressed on... guess the freezing *** cold is good for something.. haha
Omg I thought "wind chill factor" was a bunch of BS but it's no joke!!! The cold was bearable up until that wind hit me omg that **** is almost unbearable lol. I almost came into work with my snowboarding gear on haha. I love the snow but I'm not loving this freezing @$$ weather.Originally Posted by ATVracer76

As I'm new to the area, are there any pick-n-pull/pull-ur-own-parts type of junk yards near Des Moines? Back in Cali we had Pick-n-Pulls, so not sure what they are out here. Thanks!

I stopped by Wrench n Go yesterday. That place has no organization to it. They seem to just place cars randomly. Took me a few minutes to find 3 of the cherokees. Luckily the one I did find had the updated sun visors with the personal mirrors/ lights and an overhead console. It's a good place but I think they overcharge on stuff. For example the wiring for the overhead console was $10.... They charge by the pigtail. Should have been included in the price of the console if ya ask me but whatever. I'll eventually go back. As I still need a sound bar!!!!Originally Posted by altrocker1

i dont pay money for stuff. i trade labor or parts . i got these heims for installing a sye. and the hundy is from selling a hatch, steering, seats and some other random stuff same time these got delivered

yep. havent done much to that jeep except try to fix some stuff someone else did. the whole unibody rail is cracked split and booger welded. steering box kept ripping off. now its platted in 3/16 with some beefier than stock hardware. its not done very pretty but its not going anywhere

Im reppin the burbs. Clive to be exact. I've had my Xj for two years now and did some minor mods, add a leaf, stereo, etc. Where can we leggaly wheel up in this place! Cops are real sticklers about wheeling in my neighborhood lol. Oh does anyone have any 2in coil spacers and shackles. Im trying to through together a budget 2in lift, already got shocks just need shackles/spacers.
