Thanks! Im from Sacramento/Chico. Personally I say don't go back. Cali has turned into a police state. The taxes and gas prices are higher there than anywhere else. Maybe it's just me being bitter but after 30 years in that state I had enough.

Kind of noticed Iowa (Des Moines) area is pretty flat. Went to go snowboarding at Seven Oaks to find out it was a hill... was very disappointed. Might have to venture out n see what I can find. Google earth helps a lot in finding old logging roads/trails and what not.

lol, i bet seven oaks was a joke when ya got heavenly and all those right up the road from ya in tahoe... the only reason id go back is because my 86yr old granny is there all alone in san jose.. and my grandparents on the other side of the fam are right over the mountain from tahoe on the nevada side... south of gardenerville.. so it would be more of a temporary stay to help all my grandparents enjoy their golden years... hope your ready for some pretty cold temps.. looks like this weekend gonna be quite chilly... did i mention that i hate the cold.... lol

Yup. It's like racing a Viper against a dump truck, completely different leagues. But I guess if I really wanted to snowboard its better than nothing.

Just seen the temps and ya, 2 degrees for fri and 3 on saturday. That's freaking cold!!! Coldest Cali ever got was like low 30s lol.

not bad, but i like the 2x3 square tube for the main part like the jcr style.. my bumpers are all square tube styled too... what would you want for a fairly simple interior cage? i got one of the rockhard cages that is a bolt in deal i couldnt pass up but its for the 84-96 xj.. i contacted them and they claim that it wont work in a newer jeep.. i may just mod the one i have to fit.. none the less, id have to tie it into the framerails one way or another cuz if it did roll the rockhard cage would probably poke right thru my floorboard...
