Hi,
i'v'e only moved to Kansas City recently.

I want to get myself a Cerokee, one of the earlier years. I see plenty of them on Ebay and various other sites, but I haven't come across any anywhere near Kansas City, say within 75 - 100 miles driving.

Anybody any suggestions? Are there any auto traders around this neighborhood that specialize in Jeep Cherokee's?

Do a search on craigslist. There is always plenty of Cherokee's from the area on there. Where in the Kansas city area are you located?

We live near the Country Club Plaza / Nelson Atkin museum. Just moved there from the Netherlands. Very nice area, we like it a lot.

I've looked at a couple of Cherokee's. Bought myself the Haynes repair manual and I've been going through the various technical messages on this forum.

I want to get myself a nice 96 - 01 Cherokee. I own several classic cars back home in the Netherlands. I do most of the maintenance and restoration myself.

I've alway found it very useful to talk to owners who are knowledgeable on their cars. So I'm looking if there's anybody in the Kansas City area, with a Jeep Cherokee, whom I could meet for an hour or so and sort of "show me the ropes", the do's and don't and what to look for when I go Cherokee hunting.

We haven't been to Wichita yet. Having moved to Kansas City from Europe everything is still new and much to explore.

So if you would have some time this weekend we'd come down. Talk about Jeeps a bit and then my wife and I'll go Wichita exploring.

Best explorin in KS is in the Flint Hills.

 

Try craigslist in Topeka and Wichita - even Omaha -rustier there though.
