I live in conifer 80433. In 20min I can be in Denver, and 20min to the nearest trail, with 10 more within a hours drive. The closest ski area is about 45min with no traffic or weather delays. Plus it's in the mountains so you can ski and wheel on yours or friends property. It's definately worth lookingin to

I say Lakewood or Morrison is pretty nice actually. Just west of Denver, in between Conifer and Denver. I'm in southwest Denver I loves it. Takes me 20 mins to get to Conifer. About 10 to get to Morrison.

Hey thanks for the input, im actually applying to be a lift operator for the winter and maybe just stay up at the mountain, then i only have to drive into town here and there.
i was there in feb in broomfield and that seemed like a close spot to the mountains and town, but how about trails?
im trying to get a job at keystone cause that seems the closest to denver, also im now not sure if im gonna tow my jeep or part it out before i come out there?

Broomfield isn't to close to the mountains. Check Morrison or Golden to. Loveland is by far the closest ski area to Denver.
