First, let me say that I have never been to Utah before and that next time I come back I'm bringing my XJ!
My company sent me to American fork to Fluke/Hart Scientific for training.
When I got here on Sunday it was cold and raining and overcast. The clouds broke later that day and man, what a beautiful area! Snow covered mountains and beauty all around. I've lived in the west before but forgot how gorgeous it was.
One of the engineers is a wheeler (his rig is a Range Rover) and the training coordinator,(I'll call her Judy) not her real name, was driving an XJ with about a 6" Skyjacker long arm lift, roof rack, full size spare on top, high lift jack, 35" tires and running a dana 44 and a locker in the front. She had to be about 5' tall. WOW!!! What a looker! (the XJ) get your mind out of the gutter. I'm a happily married man!
I got to drive up the Alpine loop from both sides, the part from Sundance to the other sige was still closed due to snow. it opens tomorrow ,
but I will be back on a plane in the morning going homr to hug my XJ! Oh. and the wife and kids. I did miss them too! LOL!
Appreciate what you have here I love it and I will return!
I want to go wheeling in Utah!

Butterfield canyon is an awesome drive, & could be done in a rental car! It's only a 2 hour drive round trip from lehi, & you can see the whole SL valley as well as look down into the cennicot copper mine!

are you kidding me? I was staying at Thanksgiving point in Lehi! And my "rental was AWD escape! (they didn't have any Jeeps
). I'm kicking
myself for getting on CF sooner!
I had plenty of time between 5:00 and sunset!
