My 2000 Jeep Cherokee Classic 4 door black was stolen from the West side of the Thornton park and ride (North of Denver on I-25) on August 1 sometime between 7:41 AM and 5:30 PM.

-Warn front bumper with brush guard and winch wound with synthetic line
-Front plastic grill has been removed and replaced with metal lath spray painted red
-JCR rear bumper
-Red d rings front and rear
-Red front and rear differential covers
-33"x10.5 BFG KM2 tires
-3" Skyjacker lift
-Steel braided brake lines all around
-2 car seats in the back seat (1 red/black on the passenger side and 1 gray/black on the drivers side)
-Fenders have been trimmed all around

There are a lot of other after market parts but those are the most obvious.

Sucks. Someone was trying to steal mine recently.

 

Police recovered my Jeep yesterday and arrested 3 perps in the process. Max penalty for car theft in Colorado is something like 12 years in jail. Hope they get to rot for a long time.

Steering column is destroyed and drivers side lock is smashed. Driver side window doesn't work anymore either. All of my tools, high lift jack, floor jack, spot light, tree strap, etc. were stolen. We found a bunch of bongs, positive pregnancy tests, kids clothes, and trash inside. And now it reeks of pot :<

Insurance adjuster will be out in a few days so we'll go from there. Insurance said they will be suing to recover their losses plus my losses and deductible. Going to be exciting

 

Glad you got it back! I hope you get a hefty penny from your insurance too. Some auto stores sell stuff called Ozium- white and blue aersol can. If you empty one of those cans in there and park it in the sun for a day I bet the smell will be gone.
