Default rc crawling in moab!

i am going out to moab this weekend for the start of the easter jeep safari. my newest jeep is not capable of doing the hardcore trails i am used to out there.

i am really just going out to play with my rc crawlers, and do a scenic trail or two, since i have never done so.

i am stumped on what scenic trails to hit. there are sooooo many of them!

please post up some suggestions.......note that i will be the only vehicle, just my girl, my dogs, and me. i normally wouldnt go wheeling alone, but its EJS....there are alot of people out there this time of year.

i will prob hit fins and things just to see what this little beast can do and i know there is some good rc crawling there.

A awesome scenic trail you gotta try is the shapher switchbacks! it takes you up the side of a cliff all the way to "top of the world drive". (I believe thats what its called) it doesnt matter where you go that entire moab area is nothing but EPIC veiws!!! have fun in the sea of jeeps! lol

POST PICS.....

I just did Hurrah Pass a couple of weeks ago and loved it. There are some cool petroglyphs on that road. Potash Road is nice too.

thanks for the replies.

ended up running bull canyon to the bottom of gemini bridges and part of gold bar rim, fins and things, and part of dome plateau.

broke my stock track bar on gold bar rim......but had a replacment in the back of the jeep.

also, one of my tranny lines sprung a leak on the way out there and drenched my ENTIRE jeep in tranny fluid! luckily i noticed before i lost too much fluid. got her patched up and continued on.

thats it for the big jeeps carnage.

broke my steering and rear driveshaft on my rc crawler....i always have entirely too many spare parts, so i fixed and kept wheelin. my girlfriend broke absolutly nothing on hers!!

all in all, it was a great trip out there, except the lack of sleep from the drunken idiots, and the paper thin walls of the Big Horn Lodge!

i will post up some pics tonight when i get back from work.

i have a 92 cherokee body and a comanche body for my crawler, but out in places like moab, i run my losi grapler body. makes flipping it back over way easier.

i used to run EJS every year, but the cops started cracking down way too much and without a tow rig, i couldnt drive the jeep on their highways.

on to some pics. i didnt get too many, i was busy having a blast!!
