Hey guys, I have an XJ that Ive had for many years and I love the hell out of. Its been developing some rust (some surface, and some i.e. lower quarter completely through) and its clear something needs to be done about it or it will eventually destroy my Jeep. Im a full time student with a full time job and a family too so theres no way Id have the time to do the paint/prep work myself. Could anyone give me some direction on where to go that will do a solid job without breaking the bank. Ive heard Maaco skips all the prep work and thats why they dont last.

I couldn't tell you a specific shop to take it to but what I would do is call around they are all pretty competitive. Skip corporate chains such as Abra they are pretty fixed and prefer insurance work. They have a fantastic warranty and work though (use to work for them). Quarter panel replacement sounds like its in order and that is not a cheap fix.
