the one that lost two motors was, he put it back to stock when the second motor went in and never changed it, it was covered under warranty the second time, his other truck was his repo truck that one was not chipped or anything either and cost him 12 grand to replace and was not under warranty, needless to say he wont buy another cummins, after seeing all the problems they have I wont either, the powerstrokes ive had at work never have had a thing go wrong with them, and that makes me mad to say because I hate fords, but its real world comparison I work on both...

i'll take a cummins 12v put it into a 93-97 ford body and tow around duraturds all day long....i love the cummins motor but the damn trucks don't have any room unless you spend an obsene anount of money for a mega cab long bed. the duraturd has ok room but the motor is gutless and the poser allison trans isn't worth it. it's like taking a HF welder and putting a hobart sticker on it.....looks cool but is junk.
