hmm ive always had 10" wide rims and have never had to..

Tip when getting the bead to seat.... take out the valve stem core!

get beadlocks....it makes it soooo much easier


but two big pry bars work good too, also the harborfreight tire mounting kit is cheap and has worked excellent on the trail many times.

Or strap I in the middle then put air to it it seats better

I have always jumped on the tire to get them on the rim... with a little lube of course...
