Those are pretty tall gears for your 31's! Are you planning bigger tires in the future? If not, 4.10's should put your final gearing back to about stock.

 

Ya if I can afford to upgrade my shafts I'd like to run 35"s!!!

You really don't even need the spacers, the 8.8 is 1/2" shorter per side.

 

so if the 3rd and 4th arnt going to be the best days would the 27th or 28th be better?

Just to add my 2 cents, my 8,25 is geared to 3.07 cuz i have the AX-15 tranny. And i'm looking at going to 4.56 cuz eventually i want o go to a 33" tire. And yes Ryan i got the calipers at checker for $20 after the core.

 

Ya that axle is 3.55 & I'm 95% sure thats what I have under my rig now!
