I am out for all things Saturday - from 7am to 7pm I am booked solid with stuff. Nothing Jeep related, unfortunately.

I have run Pritchett recently, but not Behind the rocks. On Pritchett, Camel is right. I was on my current set up at about 6"-6.5" of lift and 35s. I didn't touch my front bumper, hit my slider a couple times but it could have been avoided. I bumped my rear bumper several times. Overall, it was not hard on the armor at all. It is drivetrain parts and diffs that get the biggest workout.

of course
it used to be cool when it was mepco, and before miller ruined it. i'm still good friends with the owners and alot of people that work there, but they're parts are mostly outsourced chinese crap now and plus unless you own a JK they have no idea what your talking about.
saturday morning. everyone is meeting at the chevron at 8am i'm guessing leaving no later than 830 then they will get to camp and for those that are camping drop their gear then off to jacob city. i'm guessing at the latest we'll be headed that way around 10am

thanks for the added input. I ended up selling my car tonight (not my jeep) and debating where to put the money.. thinking frame stiffeners (TNT) and some sliders. cross over maybe high steer as its not that much more money now that i have 2 flat tops. ill get a 3/8" rear diff cover too... debating 35's, kinda thinking i should learn how my jeep reacts with 33's before stepping it up more..

If you have 33s already and want to stay with them, for sure feel it out. But if you are buying tires, you might as well get what you want. Are there particular parts that have you concerned about the step up to 35s?

Sliders are a great investment...you should do that. I am shocked how often I am into mine on the rocks, and I am so glad they are there

I am getting my sliders in the next week or two. just ordered the stiffeners. I will be getting a high steer arm and steering set up this week for cross over.
I guess it comes down to-
steering box brace and solid spacer
fuel tank skid
Black steel wheels with custom rock rings welded in.
or 35's... all above would be good supporting mods for when i have 35's, its just which first.
